Total market size is estimated at $7 billion US dollars, of which over 70% is of imported origin. The National Development Plan calls for concrete action. Global warming is a fact and major investments are needed and planned in projects for solid waste, energy, soil, reforestation, pollution control, water, wastewater, remediation, sustainable construction, permaculture, green products, industrial cleaning, technological transformation towards increased efficiency, training and education, environmental impact studies, and adaptation and remediation measures to global warming.
